How was everybody's weekend? Great. It was fantastic. Thanks for asking. Can I tell you guys something? I went apple picking my kids. You did. Where'd you go? Went to the old Jeter Mountain farm. Jeter. The tribe. That's right. Number two.

[00:01:08] Number two. I did. And it was wonderful. Yeah. Good people up there. I'm sure you left there without taking out another mortgage and everything will be good. Yeah, they do nickel and dime me a bit up at the Jeter Mountain. Is there a bigger fraud than picking your own apples? Yeah. You gotta pay 32 bones. We have all the apples we need at my house. Yeah. And my kids are like, we want to ride the tractor. Great. Take your four hours.

[00:01:37] It's like three, four bucks a person to ride a tractor. And then if you want to pick apples, you got to pay for the basket. Yep. And it's all in, you can ride it for 15, but for 32 bucks, we'll give you a basket to pick your apples.

[00:01:49] You can as well get some apples out of the deal. She might as well get some apples, but then there's no sizes. There's one size. One size fits all. So you leave there with a bucket. Dozens of apples. So many apples. You don't need. They're going to go back. Yeah. They're just sitting on the counter. I do it mostly to support businesses, but that's fine. No, no, whatever. That's me. That's just me. That's just you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's a beautiful place. You pay, yeah. You pay us, and then you go work for us. Exactly.

[00:02:14] It's an interesting thing. You've been doing it to us for years, which has been really nice. What's weird is they have all these rules. If you pick an apple, do not put it on the ground. Make sure it goes in your bed. Clean up after yourself. Go pick the trees. Pay us to pick the trees, and don't leave any mess behind. And we will transport you on the back of a wagon. On the back of a wagon where you belong. Where you can mainline diesel. That's exactly right. And it'll only cost you $32.

[00:02:43] But you get beautiful views in the process. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I do love the Jeter Mountain. It's wonderful up there. Wonderful. Can I tell you guys a story about what happened to me this weekend? Please do. You can tell me if it's ever happened to you. Yeah, let's hear it. About glamping with Brad. No, I'm not going to talk about glamping. Maybe we'll talk about that tomorrow, but I don't have time to do that. Yeah, let's not get into it. I'm driving home from the store yesterday, and I got my five-year-old in the back seat with me. And he has a tendency to just wave at everybody that he can see. Just like, hey, hey, hey.

[00:03:13] And we're at a stoplight, and he's waving to the car next to him. And I'm like, yeah, of course you are. Whatever. We turn, and I hear him start laughing. And I'm like, what happened? And he says, Dad, I waved at the guy next to me. Instead of waving back, he went like this. And he holds up his middle finger. Ooh, yeah. And he doesn't know what that means. Right. But I think he could tell by my reaction that it wasn't a good thing. Not a good thing.

[00:03:41] Has anyone ever flicked off your children, and did you let the person live that did? Please do tell Grizz I'm sorry. I mean, I don't think it was personal. I was having a bad day. Pass along the apology. I wasn't like. Either your kids, you raise them how you want to, but he doesn't know what that means by now. A freedom rocket. What? I'm from deep Massachusetts. [00:04:11] Double free. You never grab the double freedom rocket from somebody? Throw those things around around Fourth of July, Veterans Day. New Englanders are barely American. I'm sorry. [00:06:38] It's too many vowels. Yep. Guys, let's just all decide we're going to just call it fall from now on. What do we? Why? What do we try? Also, autumn is. Why are we trying to get fancy? It's in the title of the performance. The orchestra. What does it call it? Vivaldi's autumn. Yeah, Vivaldi's autumn. Right. And he was wrong for that too. He was wrong. Vivaldi was wrong. Vivaldi was wrong, guys. Autumn has three vowels. Autumn has three vowels, two of which are used, which is the worst of the vowels. And I think we can all agree.

[00:07:08] Except for why, when it's sometimes used. What's wrong with you? Use a good vowel? Use a good vowel? Yeah, a couple of freedom rockets to you, Brian. [00:07:39] September 16th, 2023. And it went a little something like this. Ellie likes eating fruit and stuff and also loves the piano, but that's in her past. That's in her past. Don't even talk about the piano. Is she going to play the piano a good bit without being prompted? Maybe. But don't talk to her about it. For now, she works at a hotel doing some event planning and has a call with a gourd guy. We all have a gourd guy. We all have a gourd guy. We have to talk to her best friend.

[00:08:07] Leo is a famous author that could not be more struck. I mean, stuck. Struck? Stuck. He has been struck with war writer's block is what I was writing. War writer's block? Did you just write about war? Yeah. Yes. He's struck with war writer's block. Yes. Leo has a buddy named Sam who wears layers on layers and he is putting together the music for a fundraiser thing.

[00:08:35] Ellie has a buddy named Matt who is a chef who's working on some dishes because he has big dreams. Big dreams doing big things with big food. So Ellie ends up getting fired from her job. I guess the gourd guy didn't come through. And so she called Leo to vent and they both are discussing how they need a change of scenery, a change of pace. And Ellie is like, let's switch places. So they do that.

[00:09:04] Leo gets Ellie's place and gets to Ellie's place and is shocked to find Matt is cooking in her kitchen. They chat a bit and they go their own way. Ellie can't find the keys to Leo's house, so she's going to break in. Sam catches her. They chat a bit and then they go their own way. But tomorrow's a new day and here we are. Today is yesterday's tomorrow. Leo goes to the hotel to write and Matt brings him some yummy food.

[00:09:30] And Sam comes over to try to convince Ellie to help with the music because basically she's amazing and she should. And she's like, no, don't make me play. And she finally agrees to help with the music, but she's not going to play the piano. Don't make me play piano. Don't make me play piano. I'm not doing it. I won't play piano. I won't play it. Don't make me play piano. So Leo and Matt are hanging out a ton, helping each other creatively.

[00:10:01] Creatively. Creatively. Creatively? You looking for that word, buddy? Yep. Might have been. And just being cute and stuff. And Ellie and Sam are hanging out, throwing leaves at each other and whatnot, also just being cute and stuff. Uh, their time is coming to a close at, uh, the respective, uh, homes in which they are, uh, dwelling, dwelling in. And, um, but after both couples have an almost kiss, they naturally decide to extend their time.

[00:10:30] But I think I need a little bit more time here. Can't end on an almost kiss, right? And so Ellie and Sam have another almost kiss. The feels are just freaking exploding. Uh, Leo finishes the first three chapters of his book and it is fresh. It is new. It is unlike anything he's ever done. Cause it's not a part of the series that he's known for. And so he's getting ready to send it to his editor, goes and talks to Matt first.

[00:10:59] Matt is reading his books and he's like, Hey, you've got to do what you want to do because if you don't do what you want to do, you're never going to do anything worth doing. You know what I mean? Of course. Yeah. So he goes, he sends the chapters, gets a call from his editor and his editor's like, Hey, this is good. It's not what I need. So no, the answer is a scram, scram with this idea, go back to your thing. And so he's like, I took this big, uh, leap of faith and, uh, got denied.

[00:11:29] And so just like in my personal life, I can't do that in my love life either. I can't take a leap of faith. And so it's better if I just leave. Hate that. Um, she is like, I'm not going to play the piano. And everybody's like, Hey, if you don't play the piano, we're not going to play our instruments either. It's a full, full instrument walkout. They say we're done with the instruments. If you don't play piano.

[00:11:58] And so basically he's like, he goes up to her and he's like, Hey, either play piano or we're done here. And she's like, okay, I guess, I guess we're done here. And so, uh, they go back to their respective places. The end. The end. Merry Christmas. Except it's not, it's not that at all. Okay. Okay.

[00:12:18] They, uh, it's, uh, the, the time for the big, big showdown and she shows up, she brings a, uh, uh, Matt, Matt. Yeah. Brings Matt with. So they're all together now, the four of them. And, uh, she says, okay, we'll do the performance. She crushes it. Um, and they kiss and then, uh, Leo and Matt are talking and it's like, you've really helped

[00:12:45] me become a better person, a better writer, more creative, creative, creative. And, uh, they kiss. And then it ends with a split screen, double kiss shot, split screen, double kiss shot. Psalm live. And now my friends was notes of autumn. We did do it. We're going to take a quick break. We're going to come back and we're going to break this movie down here on deck. The hallmark.

[00:13:20] It's not that I have a problem pronouncing autumn. It's just that is too many vowels. It's three vowels, three columns. And that ratio doesn't work for you. It's too many. Okay. Especially when fall is just sitting there. Fall is a perfect word. Yeah. Fall is similar to ball, tall, wall, mall. Call. Like how many words have the exact same structure as autumn? That automatically makes fall better. Automatically? Autumn. That's good. You did there.

[00:13:50] Uh, it's time for the hot take. It is where we share exactly how we felt about this movie. Even though it's cooler here because it's fall, it's going to get hot here in the studio. Uh, Brian, share your take with us. I can already, uh, wow. Ooh, careful there. Wow. You got quite the take today, buddy. I do. I do, Bran. This movie, so much worked for me. And I really liked it a lot. This movie, so much worked for me. In this movie, so much worked for me. I really liked it. I'll say that right up front.

[00:14:20] The, um, like, I'm watching it and I'm just getting bombarded with these stars. Like, save some stars for the rest of the season. Yeah. Like, this is so much star power in this movie. And it was used phenomenally, too. It wasn't just like, let's, we have these big names. We're going to have to be forced to put them in. Like, they were used really, as Bran would say, what's the word? Creative, create. You couldn't even say it wrong if you tried. I can't. I can't even say it. Creatively. Creatively. It was very creatively how they used all the stars.

[00:14:48] So, I love this idea of showing the writers, the writers' characters. Uh, the Liam Rosemary thing was so good. So good. Like, when you're writing something, the idea of, like, your characters talking back to you is such, like, a clever device to show in a movie. Uh, I would say even a better device than, like, a smartphone. That's how strongly I felt about that as a device in this movie. So good. And I laughed every time that, uh, Pascal and, um... Kevin.

[00:15:18] Kevin. Uh, or, I just want to call him Liam Rosemary. Yeah. That's fair. Every time they were on the screen, it was so funny. It was so well done. Uh, I love that. And so, uh, I... This movie, I want this every... Like, I want a Christmas movie of this. Like, don't change a thing except the scenery. Do it again. It was so fun. This would work great in any season of the year. Autumn, fall, Christmas, what have you. Autumn or fall. Exactly. Could work either, yeah. So, I thought this was just so well done. There was so much that I liked about this.

[00:15:48] Better or worse than Guiding Emily. Oh, man. You know, I did my ranking, and they are numerically equal, which was surprising to me. Explain your ranking again. I just add some points. It's like stuff. I just add points. Stuff all the difference. Yeah, real funny. Real Christmasy. Yeah, real funny. Respect it. Would I watch it again? Would I... It's the five bars. And so, they both got 12 points, which I was surprised that this didn't blow it away because it was so clever and funny and so different, but Guiding Emily was really, really good too.

[00:16:17] So, what you're saying is that it sounds like you like this one more. I like this one more, but on paper, they stack up pretty close to each other. Maybe there's a flow in your rating system. Why could you just be like, I liked it better? Yeah. I just did. Okay. But on paper, no. Paper's different than what you feel. Yeah. Okay, got it. Yeah, everybody gets that. This movie's immaculate. I love this. Immaculate. It's an immaculate movie. I love the way it looks. I love the way that it sounded.

[00:16:46] I loved... There's so many. I loved... Views and A's all over the place. I love... Out there. I love all four of these leads. I love them together. Now I need you at the end of Immaculate. I need you to please shut your yapper and Freedom Rocket right on over to you, bud. Freedom Rocket right back to you, bud. I get it. Listen, I get it. Oh, boy. Go to three, go to three. Cut to two. I... Sure. Yeah, I loved it. I just thought both of these leads...

[00:17:15] I thought both of these leads worked so good. Both of these couples worked so good. It just... It all worked for me. And I gotta say, as somebody who adores one of the most, I think, beloved and classic movies of all time, the holiday. Don't. We're trying to have a sophisticated conversation here. Speak for yourself. The holiday sucks. Speak for yourself. This movie... You've never seen The Holiday? No. Do you have six or seven hours?

[00:17:45] Oh, stop. Is it that long? Stop. How long is it? False. It is so long and so terrible. It clocks in under two hours, right? No, no, no, no. Under two hours. The holiday is not under two hours. Well, it just flies by for me. In your life, under two hours. Get out of here. Hold on. The holiday. Everybody, please hold. Two hours and 16 minutes. Okay. Flies right by. Yeah, okay. Flies right by. 52 on Metascore. Oh, classic.

[00:18:12] It is a classic for 52% of the population, Dan. That's not how that works. It is! The population didn't vote. No, no, no, no. And 100 out of 100... I'm not saying that's how it works 100% of the time, but I'm saying 52% of the people that like this movie, I guarantee you all those people think that it's a classic. There's no like, I'll watch it and I'll let you guys know. It is an absolute classic. Just like this movie. This movie is, I think, going to be a classic. Listen, it's hard. We've seen... Can I say this about the holiday?

[00:18:42] I know we got to move on. Someone said, I do not understand why Dan hates the holiday. It's one of my all-time faves. A lot of people saying it's their all-time faves. 52% of the people. I have not... Can't. I can't. I can't math or spell with you right now. I have not seen the holiday since it came out in theaters. So, I would be willing to give it another shot. Here we go. I'm not setting my way on this one. And if I'm wrong, like with Clueless, I was just wrong. I'm happy to admit I was wrong.

[00:19:12] But my memory of that movie is that it was a Nancy Meyers slog. Like, which means there's 30 minutes too much in there. And it just kind of... It just kind of tries to environment you to death. Like, it just is... It's bad. Anyway, go ahead. Well, it's just like we've seen movies where you have multiple love stories going on. And lots of times you feel a little bit short-changed, especially when Homer tries to do it. Because they're... You know, they got the hour and 24-minute time constraint there.

[00:19:40] I felt like both of these couples got their due time. And I fell in love with both of them. And yeah, this movie just works for me all the way across the board. It's going to be one of my favorites of the year. I liked it better than Guiding Emily. But I also didn't do math to figure that out. So, I don't know. Just take my word for it. Dan, what do you think? This is a tough spot. I don't like the holiday. This movie really isn't for me.

[00:20:04] Like, it's not a movie that I would say is something that really does much for me. Having said that, if this is what you're looking for, like big fall feels, great hallmark actors, it would be hard to do better from that regard. I did not... It's not going to get a like from me, but that's just because it wasn't really my thing. Everybody does amazing in this movie. And I really appreciate... Peter Port should be in more of these. It's good to see Luke McFarlane back.

[00:20:34] Marcus Rosner, always great. But Ashley Williams, who is a dear friend of ours, a friend of the show, she typically in these movies either goes like very quirky, funny, and she's amazing at it, great comedic timing, or she plays it really serious. This movie felt like the most complete Ashley Williams lead performance. Like, she had that quirky, like comedic timing in her actor's toolbox, but it was just a piece of her performance. It was a piece of her character.

[00:21:03] And so I really loved her character in this movie, and I thought it was really good. I thought both sets of leads had chemistry, and there's fall feels everywhere in this thing. So, and not many weight watts. So by all estimations, really solid work across the board. Wasn't for me, but that doesn't mean it wasn't well made or it wasn't good. Oh, wow. Definitely, definitely better than Guiding Emily across the board aside from Sarah. Well, you hate dogs.

[00:21:33] I think we established that last week. Let's get to all the feels where we're talking about what in this movie gave us just all those feels. Brian? Yeah, I mean, the fall, obviously, but the music was such a huge part of this, and it was so enjoyable. There was even a point where they were practicing, they were rehearsing a song, and it cut, it transitioned over to the other location, and the music kept going, but it changed a little bit. And I was just like, what a great way to use. Three certified bops in this movie that I counted. Right? And I shazammed. Yeah, you did. Okay, good. I'm glad.

[00:22:02] We should go over the playlist, because I didn't shazam any, but I was loving music in it so much. And when they brought that string quartet outside. That's the one. I was like, are you kidding me right now? That's, yeah. Are you kidding me right now? That, that's my feels. You bring your string quartet outside in the fall, in the autumn. A string quartet? Yeah. Are you kidding me right now? To play Vivaldi's Autumn. Boy. That was a cool scene. There was a great way, and that too, that I'll get to, but that was so, oh man, I couldn't believe they did it. They did it.

[00:22:31] It was so great. I want more of that. They hired real musicians for all four of those. Well, they were. They looked like they were really down. They looked like they were playing. I mean, Ashley wasn't. The four on the strings were all really. I don't know. You saw her hands on the keyboard. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They were crushing it. Brent? Peter Port's wardrobe is impeccable. A lot of immaculate around here. Immaculate, impeccable. Just, I wanted it all.

[00:22:55] In fact, there was one yellow overcoat in particular that I Google lensed. I found it for $330, which I will not spend money on, but I will look at it. We would never spend hundreds of dollars on wardrobe we'd wear once. I can tell you that. We're really frugal around here. The wardrobe in this movie is just... Immaculate. It's just fall. It's just autumn. What's the word?

[00:23:23] It's just autumn where I want it. It's autumn where I want it. Is that too much to say? It is not. It's not a where I want it. It's a lot of syllables. Danny already gave yours. [00:23:53] Hopefully, yes. Creatively. Why is it me? Why is it my lot in life to say things so wrong all the time? No one else has this hard of a time. I don't know. I mess it up sometimes. Is it because... Stop it. Is it because my brain's moving too fast from my mouth or the opposite? My mouth's moving too fast from my brain. This is what it is. It's one of those two. Yeah. It's time for the wait. What is what we're talking about? What in this movie? Let's go, wait. What?

[00:24:24] Brian? Yeah, back to the string quartet outside. Was she playing an electric keyboard outside? I believe she was playing an electric keyboard outside. I thought she was playing an electric keyboard outside. So maybe throw batteries in those bad ways. You can. You can also run an extension cord. I just... Just funny. It was just funny to me that it was outside. But you're right. Batteries could go in there. We could plug it into a generator. And also, Leo... I kind of expected Leo and Ellie to talk more.

[00:24:54] Maybe this worked better for the movie. To talk more while they were in each other's places. This is a big... Like, one of my big wait what's... One of the few things in this movie that doesn't hold up is... Is these two people are best friends. Like, would share each other's houses with each other. Yeah. And very rarely do we get any banter with them. No. Like, or any just like keeping them up to date on what's going on. It's almost like they're scared to talk to each other. It's like... Yeah. They have to have this misunderstanding about like... I lent out the kitchen or I lent out what... But in that part...

[00:25:23] I think in a movie, you know, that Nancy Meyers takes over and makes it six hours long. Like, you have more of that than you could ever want or need. But in this movie, it was lacking for sure. Yeah. And I don't know. It might have taken away if we were just watching them text or have phone calls to go over stuff. It was clearly obvious. So maybe it was just a choice. But I thought it was a little strange they didn't talk. And at least... This is sort of... I guess I'll say this for what the hallmark... Because it's just a question. Wow. That just brought me the whole time. What a tease. I only have a couple.

[00:25:51] I was too busy bathing my eyes and ears in autumn. Immaculate. Immaculate. Immaculate. Your blitz in your eyes and ears in autumn? Is that what you said? Bathing. Bathing. Okay. Bathing. One... Blitz in autumn, y'all. Listen. I'm not saying... I'm not saying you can't cut meatballs. Like, I think that you can. I think that people do. Those big old honking meatballs that come out. Like, sure. Cut those. Luke McFarlane's given a meatball. A plate of meatballs. That are...

[00:26:20] Meatballs that are meant to be in my... Listen. I'm not somebody who's trying to tell anybody how to eat. I love that you're this far down this road. Let's go. But I put that whole sucker in my mouth. I... I'm not cutting... You're blitzing that meatball. But here's the thing. You sure are, man. Here's the thing. Here's the thing. You're not cutting it. If you're going to cut the meatball, make the cut worth it is all I'm saying. He, like, cuts the tiniest little sliver. It's basically full meatball still. He doesn't want the meatball.

[00:26:50] But just eat the... It is the size. It's size that doesn't need to be cut. The meatball is small enough. It's small enough to just eat. Just eat the meatball. And if you're going to cut it, cut it. Don't just cut a sliver. Look at what I'm holding up right now. I'm not going to show what it says because that's for tomorrow. This is a rectangle. Imagine this rectangle is a meatball. Sure. Okay. Just stay with me. Those are different geometric shapes. Okay, okay, okay. I've made it into a... Oh, good.

[00:27:19] You use that pumpkin at your feet. There you go. That huge giant pumpkin. Imagine this is a meatball. Dear God in heaven. What he cuts... File it up to be on TTH. What he cuts here, if you want to cut it down the middle to make it worth your time and your energy, then do it. He cuts like that. And then he's still left with, I would say, 90% meatball. So if you're going to cut 10% meatball off, just eat the 100% meatball. He's not an experiment. He doesn't... Just eat the full meatball. He's being nice, Bran.

[00:27:49] He doesn't want to eat it all. Then eat the small, then eat the 10%. Yeah, just eat a little bit of it. Oh, he ate the bigger part? He ate the 90%. Oh, okay. Is my point. Sure, okay. If you're going to eat 90%, eat hundo. Eat hundo. God. Yeah. I don't know why you're making this harder than it needs to be. Eat hundo. That's who made it harder than it needed to be, for sure. Last but not least, pop the whole meatball in your mouth. There is a fella in this movie who, he says, she's talking to all the musicians.

[00:28:19] And she's like, hey, show me what you got, basically. And he says, can I use a speaker? And she says, sure. And he busts out a speaker. And I just want, like, what's, don't make me, don't make me bring out my own speaker. He was ready to go. Ready to go with speaker. I love that guy. Kudos to him. Dano? Yeah, I got a few.

[00:28:45] My favorite, though, is this four-person, the string quartet is so meh on Vivaldi at the beginning of this movie. They're like, oh, can you believe we got to play this, Vivaldi? And Autumn in Autumn, can you believe this? They're talking about it like one of them wrote it the night before. Yes. This is one of the most famous pieces in music. And they are talking about this piece of music like, gosh, just so uninspired, Vivaldi. You know what I mean?

[00:29:12] I'm glad you brought it up, because one of mine early on was, I'm really frustrated by this quartet, and I couldn't tell why. And that's what it was. They were just so like, they don't even want to be there. Like, they have this vibe. Like, what are they doing? Like, why are they there? It is like someone wrote something for the fall festival that they have to play, and it's trash. Yeah. They're playing what is considered and held in such high esteem as one of the best pieces of music ever written. And they're sitting around like, God, we got to play this. Yeah.

[00:29:42] Oh, we got to play Beethoven's fifth again? Suffer through it. Gee. Gee. Well, overrated. You know what I mean? Like, it takes Ashley Williams showing up and inspiring them by taking them outside and going, think about playing this in the autumn and what Vivaldi's trying to get across for them to all like, it's like we're all in dead poet society. And they're like, oh my gosh, this is amazing. What? Guys. Man, I will say this.

[00:30:09] Marcus Rosner's in charge of directing them, and he doesn't know anything about music. And I know that he says he was like helping and somebody got put in charge, but that part was kind of weird, I guess. Um, I like the idea of Ashley losing her luggage and having to wear all of Luke McFarlane's clothes. But if you're going to do that idea, have her like guys, if you've never met Ashley Williams in person, she is tiny.

[00:30:35] She's little Luke McFarlane ripped six, two, six, three mountain of a foot of height between them. Um, and if you're going to do that bit, let those clothes just drape off of her, like let her walk around and just nothing. And, and that's not what happens in this movie. A few things are a little bit baggy and that's it. And I feel like they kind of played it in between. And I was like, man, really go all the way with that.

[00:31:02] And I guarantee you Ashley wanted to do it the right way. And they were like, no, that looks, she's over there cuffing up pants. You're like, get those. No, no, no. Like, like just walking around with like sleeves a foot too long. And like, that would have been the move. And they just, they didn't do it. And so it just becomes weird. Like why even do it at all? And then when she gets her clothes, she wears a blazer. I'm pretty sure she was wearing earlier in the movie when it was supposed to be Luke's. Um, so different, different question for a different day.

[00:31:30] Uh, the fact that they meet at the airport, both on their way to the perspective, uh, places and on the way home is just downright impressive. It's not even coincidental. Uh, we don't know what city they're in. Like Ashley lives in. I know he's in Canada. We don't know. She's in America somewhere. Do we ever get that information? I don't know if we do. But no, the fact that it, what appears to be a big metropolitan airport, they managed to be there at the same time for flights and find each other.

[00:31:58] No problem is like absurd nightmare. It's just a nightmare. It's just crazy that they're having to do extra work at an airport. It was clear. They just needed the location for the day and that's why they did it. It was crazy that they would do that. Um, they hold up, they keep holding up this little like stack of papers and they say, this is the first three chapters of Luke's new novel. So there is no way that's a chapter. It is like nothing.

[00:32:23] It's not like we're trying to write a script right now and our like outline is longer than that. Like it's just three chapters. No way. No way. No how. That's, that's crazy town. Um, and then, uh, yeah, that's, that's, that's good for now. Uh, it's time for what the hallmark. It's where we wonder what could have been maybe up against and clarity questions we still have, right? Yeah.

[00:32:49] My, what the hallmark, my big question is, and this, this is like a repeating recurring issue for me. It's more me than the movies. Her condo is jacked and she keeps talking about, she can't be an artist because rent, food, clothes, like sell your condo. Isn't that her sisters? She said that, but then she said at one point she pays. For it. So it's her. Oh, okay. Okay. So she writes it from her sister. All right. So maybe she gets, all right. That explains that a lot. Yeah. Cause that always just drives me bonkers. The place was incredible.

[00:33:19] Like if I had to pick one of those places to go to, it would be her condo rather than his house in Canada. The place looked great, but okay. So I guess I don't have a, what the hallmark. Um, I guess it just, does she, uh, does she perform with them again next year? Back to, back to you, Brian. It's good. I mean, my biggest takeaway here is where were all the pianos? They call it the piano fest or bar, whatever it was called. Ball. There are no pianos. There are no pianos except for one. Yep. What's up with that? I just want to be Peter Port's butt.

[00:33:49] Uh, that was my big takeaway here is, you know, you just take everything you say and you just record it and then you're going to be surprised about how they sound. That's all I'm saying. I want to be his buddy. You want to be his buddy? Yeah. I want to be his buddy. I want to hang out. He seems like, maybe like, maybe, you know, swap clothes. Like he can wear this one and I'll wear the $330, uh, yellow, uh, overcoat. So like, just like for a day, even like just splizzy go daisies on the clothes. Like what if we just, what if, what if, what if you have not spoken in ages?

[00:34:20] You've not mastered the English language. What if we just shared wardrobe is all I'm saying. What if we share clothes? What if we share clothes? What if we share clothes? That's all I'm saying. Dan. Um, in this movie, all I'm saying is, is he ate 90% of the meatball, not 10%. And I didn't want that on the record. Thank you. It's on there. Eat the whole meatball. Eat the whole meatball. Um, or 10% of it. We see Ashley and what we believe to be a, a hand double playing piano regularly in this movie.

[00:34:48] And they make her have a lot of shots where she's reacting to playing the piano, even though she's not, we don't think really playing the piano. Um, which is fine. Happens in these movies all the time. Luke McFarlane went to Juilliard and played the cello. He played the cello at Juilliard. I'm not asking for you to pigeonhole that into a movie, but if you have a movie where

[00:35:17] there is a string quartet playing Vivaldi, why would Luke not at some point grab a bow and give it, give it once over one time? I don't like when you're here, your family, like we were here. We made this movie string quartet. He trained at Juilliard. He could do this in his sleep. Why not let him do it? Or, you know, or maybe my, what the homework is, is why didn't he want to, maybe they asked

[00:35:44] him and he didn't want to, whatever the reason, why is he not playing the cello in this movie? Makes no sense to me. I would love to know. Or as Brian would say the cello, the cello. All right. That's right. Or the cello. All right, Brian, get over there and rate your movies with your thing. Got him. But here's the thing is it's like, I want to say it was Rosner posted a video in his stories of Luke on set playing cello. Yeah.

[00:37:40] Got it. And so what she does is her and her crew come on in. And when your act is not going well, you call her and her group in. They take over that whole act. They take over the whole act. And they'll finish it. How quickly can they get there? Oh, just. You call them beforehand. If you think it's bad. You want them on. You want them on. They're on standby. What's this place called? It's called. You did the deep dive. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But sometimes they'll get run together. Get run together.

[00:38:10] Yeah. I caught. Yeah. It's called. It's called. Get your act together. Oh. You forgot that, huh? It's called. Get your act together. That's good. That's really good. This is a good service. And they just have all the plays memorized. Well, that's tricky. Yeah. So sometimes it's a little bit of improv in there. Yeah. A little bit. Yes. Anding. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, sure. But they crush it. I don't think Lindsay would have it any other way. We got a clip. It's the best of time. It was the worst of time.
